Ryan Boot: keeper feels more confident after first-team return
Goalkeeper Ryan Boot says he has returned to the Vale first-team as a more “confident” player.
Boot was restored to the first-team ahead of Rob Lainton and the 23 year-old has now made 22 appearances this season.
I’ve worked hard, I’ve managed get back into the side so obviously I’ve got to keep my place…
Ahead of the Barnet game he told the media: “It’s probably done me some good being taken out the side, I’ve worked hard, I’ve managed get back into the side so obviously I’ve got to keep my place. I feel as though it’s more experience, but more confidence definitely.
“A win can change everything, it can change for weeks to come as well taking confidence into different games as well, so hopefully we can get the three points.”
