Triple injury blow adds to Port Vale woes
Port Vale manager Neil Aspin revealed that three players suffered injuries during the 3-2 defeat to Swindon Town.
Marcus Harness was replaced early on Barnett after coughing up blood; David Worrall was replaced at half-time and Barnett himself had to be replaced late on.
Aspin told the media: “David Worrall had a dead leg early on, Marcus Harness was coughing up blood and obviously struggling and then Tyrone Barnett felt his hamstring. So, not great but nobody ever said it was going to be easy.”
The injuries will pile more pressure on a Vale side which has yet to win in 2018.
