Former Valiants: Sinnott appointed Gainsborough Trinity boss
Former Port Vale manager Lee Sinnott has been appointed manager of Vanarama National League North side Gainsborough Trinity.
Sinnott managed the Valiants between 2007 and 2008 after replacing Martin Foyle.
The 52-year-old, who has also managed Farsley Celtic, Bradford Park Avenue and Altrincham, has been announced as the successor to Dave Frecklington, who left the club last week.
Sinnott left Altrincham in March 2016 and he now takes over a Trinity side that has slipped into the relegation zone. He commented: “Gainsborough has always had a great deal of potential when I have visited with other clubs, but the hard work starts now and I can’t wait to turn that potential into reality.”
