Port Vale manager Neil Aspin has revealed that defender Joe Davis and forward Tyrone Barnett have joined the club’s injury list.
Barnett’s injury is arguably the most serious as it leaves Tom Pope and Dan Turner as the club’s only fully fit forwards, although Anton Forrester is also approaching full fitness.
Fortunately, Vale are well stocked for defenders so Davis’ absence will be less keenly felt by the Vale manager.
Barnett has already missed a portion of the season through injury and joins loan forward Rekeil Pyke on the sidelines.
Rob Lainton, Sam Hornby and midfielder Ben Whitfield are also currently out of action through injury.
