Manager Neil Aspin spoke to the press saying he wants to be at the club “long enough to have an impact” and “bring some success.”
Aspin says he hasn’t changed since leaving Gateshead but this is a “bigger job on a bigger scale” and “in time you hope you can be at a club long enough to have an impact and bring some success.”
He adedd that he wants the “respect off the players” and that he will “give respect back.”
Aspin says he “doesn’t want to put a time” on how long midfielder Ben Whitfield will be out but he will miss the “next few games.” The manager says that the Valiants have a “couple of options” as to who should replace Whitfield in the side.
