Tyrone Barnett makes comeback with the reserves
Striker Tyrone Barnett played for an hour for the Port Vale reserves as he marked his return from injury.
Barnett was injured in the club’s very first friendly of the summer as he was taken off just moments after netting twice against Kidsgrove.
He has missed all of Vale’s season so far but Michael Brown will be delighted to see the striker play 60 minutes of the reserves’ win over Walsall.
Loanee Jack Stobbs was the star of the show for the reserves as he scored the first and set-up the other two goals for Dan Turner and Anthony De Freitas.
