New Port Vale signing buzzing as he eyes debut
New loan signing Tyler Denton says he is “buzzing for Saturday” as he hopes to make his debut for the Valiants.
The 21 year-old left-back signed from Leeds United but he will be unable to make his debut against his parent club on Wednesday evening. However, he will expect to play against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
I’m buzzing for Saturday just to get going and get started. I think this team needs to be fighting for promotion…
Denton told the official Port Vale website: “It’s great obviously, I’ve heard a lot about the place over the last few weeks and I know the manager from his time at Leeds and a few of the players like Tongey and I’m just delighted and I can’t wait to get going.
“I’m an attacking fullback, I like to pass the ball and keep the ball and playing at Leeds I’ve learnt the hard way, I know you have to dig in and dig deep when you need to and I can do that.”
