Michael Brown says his Port Vale squad is getting stronger
Port Vale manager Michael Brown says that the signing of midfelder David Worrall has strengthened the side and it will be boosted by the return of more players.
The manager has repeatedly urged patience for his re-build squad and he feels that he still needs time to finalise his squad.
However, many fans’ patience is running out after the manager’s much-criticised tactics against Crewe and a run of four straight defeats.
In his defence, Brown argued: “I thought David Worrall did very well, I think it was there for all to see what he brings to the dynamics of the team – and he will get stronger.
“I think you could see that. The squad is getting stronger with more players coming back.”
Vale are currently missing Rob Lainton, Tyrone Barnett, Danny Pugh and Cristian Montano is also not yet fully fit.
