Port Vale sign Marcus Harness
We are delighted to welcome the arrival of Burton Albion winger Marcus Harness on a season-long loan.
The 21 year-old has joined Vale, becoming the latest signing this season, and he will now begin preparing for the Sky Bet League Two campaign with his new team mates.
As part of the deal, Burton will have the option of a recall in January 2018.
Harness made 13 appearances for the Brewers during the 2016/17 season, adding to the 44 career appearances he has made for Nigel Clough’s side.
During his time with Burton so far, Marcus has enjoyed being involved in two promotion campaigns in 2015 and 2016.
Burton were promoted to the Championship from League One in the 2015/16 season and Harness was awarded the most improved Young Player of The Year after some fine performances.
The winger has enjoyed a good start to pre-season with Burton and will look to continue that under Michael Brown at Vale Park.
Stay tuned to the club website and official social media channels to hear more from Marcus over the coming days.
