Port Vale chairman backs Michael Brown’s transfer plans
Newly installed Port Vale chairman Tony Fradley has told the Sentinel newspaper that Michael Brown will act decisively in the transfer market.
Fradley told the newspaper: “Michael Brown is a person who really wants to get on with it. He seems to have irons in the fire and when people press the button then he is ready to go. So, for example, when Chris Eagles makes a decision then the offer is there.
“There are a lot of balls up in the air and things have to land in the right sequence. It has surprised me as a fan. I think there will be quite a frenzy in early to mid-July. That’s not because we will be signing just any players – we will be signing the right players.”
