Brown says every game is now a cup final
Manager Michael Brown has emphasised the importance of the remaining games of the season as Vale battle to stay up.
Brown told the Sentinel: “We could be very bare on Saturday, but players are all getting a chance. We have discussed that with the rest of the boys, they are going to get some minutes and it is certainly proving that way.
“They have got to be ready and the players have to try to recover the best they can, but the games are coming up thick and fast.”
“Every game is a cup final for us, this was disappointing I think because it was Coventry. Thy have been playing some good football but getting beaten recently. But it wasn’t good enough for our part. Maybe we were slightly thinking that points were going to come a little bit easier than they were.”
