Ciciilia injury means Vale face attacking and defensive crisis
In more bad news for Port Vale, the club have confirmed that striker Rigino Cicilia has a calf strain.
The news means that Vale could be down to three strikers – Anton Forrester, JJ Hooper and Dan Turner – for the visit of Bradford. That is because loan striker Tyler Walker is now expected to be out for the end of the season effectively ending his loan spell
Furthermore with Forrester having suffered two injuries already this season, too much workload may have an adverse affect on the summer signing.
Vale’s squad is now looking threadbare in key areas. Kjell Knops is now suspended after ten yellow cards and with Remie Streete’s injury it leaves Nathan Smith as the club’s only recognised centre-half.
Vale’s list of unavailable players now reads as – Remie Streete, Anthony De Freitas, Tyler Walker, Adam Yates, Rigino Cicilia and the suspended Knops.
Despite the bad news Vale fans will be hoping that a patched-up Vale side can pick up points to move out of the relegation zone.
