After Jerome Thomas tweets, now Quentin Pereira has his say on social media
Quentin Pereira has become the second Port Vale player to defend his record at the club through social media.
Earlier this month, veteran winger Jerome Thomas posted a series of tweets following apparent criticism of his injury record by interim manager Michael Brown.
Now, following comments by Brown that he has not ” trained great for a long time now” Pereira took to Instagram to give fans an update.
His update said: “Hello! I hear a lot of things so I come to give you news. First of all, I’m not hurt. I practice every day and I give 100%, but it’s been several weeks that, for no reason… I’m far from the first team and I train with the reserve team! I will continue to give 100% of myself to the club. Thank you for your support.”
Fans will be concerned about the morale and team spirit of the squad now that two players have responded to comments from the interim manager.
