Ribeiro says Seb Amoros is still learning the English game
Bruno Ribeiro says that midfielder Sebastien Amoros is still learning how to play in League One.
Ribeiro raised eyebrows when he took off Amoros during the defeat to Charlton recently but the manager told the media the midfielder “lost many balls” as he continues to learn. At the time the substitution bemused many Vale fans who felt Amoros was the team’s best player in the first-half.
But the Vale manager says Amoros is not yet ready wheras fellow midfielder Anthony Defreitas has been praised for “doing very well.”
Riberio commented: “I think Amoros is still learning English football. His passing needs to improve, he lost many balls in the middle, but De Freitas is fantastic, he can play as a number six or number eight and is doing very well for us.
“He has come back from injury and played very well in the last three games.”
