Kelle Roos player profile:
Tall Dutch goalkeeper Kelle Roos began his career in English non-league football for Nuneaton Town before joining Derby County in 2014. He signed on loan for Port Vale from Derby County in September 2017 after an injury to first-choice keeper Rob Lainton.
He made his debut in the 1-1 home draw with Forest Green which was manager Michael Brown’s final game as Port Vale manager.
He initially endured some shaky moments in the next game (against Yeovil Town) before establishing himself as the club’s first choice under Brown’s replacement Neil Aspin. However, his Vale Park loan spell was ended early by injury in November 2017.
He later had a loan spell with Plymouth Argyle as well as breaking into the Derby County first-team.
