Bruno Ribeiro on summer arrivals – everyone needs time
Manager Bruno Ribeiro says that his summer signings have needed time to adapt to the English game.
Ribeiro added a number of players from foreign leagues in the summer but asks supporters to be patient as the new arrivals adapt to League One football.
New players need time to adjust to English football…
Speaking about the impact of sub Rigino Cicilia on the Oldham game, Ribeiro told the official Port Vale website: “I’ve always said he is a good player. He works very hard, but new players need time to adjust to English football.
“He is an important player for us, when he came on today the supporters were happy to see him now, when before they were not, but this is football. Everyone needs time, and he is a good player for the club.”
Ribeiro said that the same applied to Quentin Pereira commenting that: “He is a quality player, and he, like Cicilia is important for us. Again, he needs his time to settle in and he is important for the future of this club.”
