Port Vale manager Bruno Ribeiro declared himself “very happy” after the 3-1 home victory over Millwall.
The win was Vale’s six straight home victory and afterwards Ribeiro told the media: “It is one more victory and is fantastic for the players and the supporters. We controlled the game for 95 minutes against a strong team who played long ball and it is difficult sometimes, but we prepared for the first and second balls and then just started playing.
“We scored three and could have scored one or two more but I am very happy. The players’ work was fantastic and this win was for them and the supporters.”
