It was contrasting fortunes for Vale’s two on-loan keepers this weekend. Ryan Boot made it three clean sheets while Sam Johnson was dropped.

The young goalkeeper made it three clean sheets in a row as Worcester City drew 0-0 with Telford in the FA Cup.
Sam Johnson
Vale’s loanee keeper dropped to the bench and was an unused sub in Gateshead’s 0-0 draw with Solihull Moors. Johnson was one of three players to be dropped after the Heed lost at home to North Ferriby United in midweek.
Dan Turner
The striker started Kidsgrove’s home game against Matlock Town but unfortunately it ended 2-1 to the visitors. Former Valiant Anthony Malbon scored for Grove.
Billy Reeves
The youngster started Witton Albion’s 1-1 FA Cup draw with Stalybridge.

The midfielder started Chester’s 0-0 draw with Braintree.

The striker was an unused substitute as Northampton lost 3-1 to Chesterfield.
