Port Vale sign defender Sam Hart from Liverpool
Port Vale have announced the loan signing of defender Sam Hart from Premier League side Liverpool.
Born in Bolton, the attacking left-back joined Liverpool from Manchester United in 2012.
Hart will provide cover and competition for Kiko who is recovering from injury.
A press release states:
We are delighted to announce the loan signing of Liverpool defender Sam Hart until the end of the season.
The 19 year-old was a regular member of the Liverpool Under-23 side last season and impressed last year.
His efforts saw him travel with the Liverpool first team to 1. FSV Mainz 05 in a pre-season friendly a few weeks back, where he was named in the match day squad.
Jurgen Klopp gave him his non-competitive debut when he came on after 61 minutes, replacing Alberto Moreno.
Sam is a left-back by trade and can pose a threat down the wing, as he is known for pushing on to join in with the attack.
Hart is the 15th signing to join Port Vale this season and he has already begun training with his new team mates.
