Rumour: Bolton press link Vale with Stephen Dobbie loan move
Port Vale have been linked with a possible loan move for Bolton Wanderers’ experienced striker Stephen Dobbie.
A tweet from journalist Marc Iles, chief football writer at the Bolton News said:
Dobbie to Millwall looks doubtful. Hear Port Vale also showed an interest. Clearly up for grabs. #bwfc #millwallfc #pvfc

Earlier, Rob Page said he would only be interested in added a “proven” forward to his squad rather than an inexperienced youngster. At 33 years of age and with over 100 career goals, Dobbie would certainly be an experienced addition to the squad.
Dobbie has made two starts and 20 sub appearances for Wanderers this season, scoring three Championship goals.
