Ryan Inniss out for weeks not months
Port Vale have confirmed that Ryan Inniss doesn’t face a lengthy lay-off after his latest injury blow.
The defender had only recently returned to the club after a lengthy lay-off because of a dislocated shoulder and concerns were raised when the defender limped off against Swindon Town.
He will only miss a couple of games…
The club have confirmed that Inniss suffered a hamstring injury but the defender, sponsored by onevalefan.co.uk this season, will not be out of action for long.
However, Rob Page told the press during Thursday’s media day that: “He will only miss a couple of games and be maybe two or three weeks before we can get him back into contention.
“It is a big miss because I thought he was playing really well. But when you have someone like Ryan McGivern who has been outstanding so far this season, then that is a great substitution to have.”
