Winger Colin Daniel has joined Mansfield Town on loan until the end of the season.
Daniel has made 25 appearances for the Valiants this season, scoring two goals. In total he has scored six goals in 55 appearances since joining Vale in the summer of 2014.
Port Vale manager Rob Page told the official website: “He has had a couple of clubs showing interest in League Two and a couple of non-league clubs who are ambitious to get back into the League.
“Like I have always said, he is not in my eighteen at this moment in time, so go out and play games. Mansfield showed an interest and he went and had a look at their game on Saturday.”
Stags boss Adam Murray said: “He’s got a lot of pace, a lot of energy [and] a superb left foot. He can create, he can score. The chairman I know is really proactive in us getting promoted now we’re in the mix so we’ll see where that goes.”
