Smurthwaite: Port Vale sale could be done by February
BBC Radio Stoke reports that Port Vale owner Norman Smurthwaite says a sale of the club could be completed by as early as February.
Smurthwaite put the club up for sale in December and says he is speaking to three parties.
He added that there could be some “serious progress” over the next few weeks.
He told Radio Stoke: “I think the deal will be done by one of the parties, if it’s going to happen, by the end of February.”
