According to HITC Sport, two clubs have expressed an interest in Port Vale goalkeeper Jak Alnwick.
Alnwick has enjoyed a highly impressive start to his Vale career since joining on a free transfer in the summer. After joining on a short-term deal, he signed a two and a half year contract in October.
HITC claims sources close to Vale have told them that Championship side Preston North End and League One side Wigan Athletic have both shown an interest.
The Valiants are well stocked in the goalkeeping department and may welcome the funds that Alnwick’s sale may generate especially with former first-choice Chris Neal fit and on the subs bench.
