Rob Headlines rob page, uche ikpeazu

Port Vale manager Rob Page says he wants to add a new forward to Vale’s squad after opting not to extend Uche Ikpeazu’s loan spell.

The manager confirmed that he does have a list of potential targets after deciding to let Ikpeazu return to parent club Watford.

Page told the Sentinel: “We are out every week looking at players and of course we keep on file players that have impressed us, ones who might be available and players coming to the end of their loan in January.

“There are two or three that we have marked up and would like to bring in. There is still a lot of work to be done as to whether we can achieve that. But we are trying our hardest to bring people in that will improve us.”
