Inniss to have surgery, Dodds set to return
Rob Page has confirmed that there is both good and bad news concerning Port Vale’s latest injured players.
The Vale manager says that on-loan Crystal Palace defender Ryan Inniss will have surgery on a shoulder injury.
It means that Inniss is likely to be out of action for some time. Inniss has returned to parent club Palace for treatment on the injury.
However, forward Louis Dodds is recovering from a calf strain and could be in contention for the Sheffield United game.
There are no updates on Vale’s other injured players Chris Neal, Michael O’Connor and Adam Yates although O’Connor is expected to be in contention for a place in the side in the coming weeks.
