Altrincham 1-2 Port Vale
Striker Uche Ikpeazu scored as Port Vale came from behind to win their final friendly of the summer.
Vale included Ryan Inniss and Ikpeazu in a strong starting line-up while Altrincham started with two former Valiants in Simon Richman and James Lawrie with a third, Anthony Griffith, on the bench.
The Valiants went behind early on when an error from Sam Johnson allowed Damien Reeves to score into an empty net. The visitors were then upset when Ryan Inniss was taken off and replaced by Streete although it was later revealed to be only precautionary.
Sam Foley forced a good save from the Altrincham keeper before Vale equalised through Colin Daniel on the half-hour mark. Then Vale went ahead just before the break through Uche Ikpeazu.
The Valiants had further chances to stretch their lead in the second period through Dodds and a Foley free-kick but to no avail. There were further chances for Leitch-Smith and Andoh but it finished in an away victory as Vale now prepare to take on local rivals Crewe in League One.
