The Sentinel reports that Mark Marshall and Freddie Veseli will not be at the club next season with Vale targeting two more players.
Marshall and Veseli have missed the club’s own deadline to agree a deal with chairman Norman Smurthwaite telling the newspaper: “All the players who didn’t meet the deadline had their contracts withdrawn. If they haven’t signed by the deadline set by Rob Page then they are on their own.”
However, the club are hopeful of adding two new players to their squad this week.
Additions to the forward line would look to be a priority with Vale looking for replacements for the departed Tom Pope and Ben Williamson.
