Shane Tudor player profile:
Shane Tudor was a powerful right-winger who had had lengthy spells with Cambridge United and Leyton Orient. He left Leyton Orient at the end of the 2006-2007 season and then became a free agent.
He was signed by Port Vale FC on a free transfer from Leyton Orient in the summer of 2007. Tudor had impressed then Valiants manager Martin Foyle with his performances against the Valiants and joined the club alongside Orient teammate Justin Miller.
However, Tudor suffered poor form and then suffered a number of knee injuries. Arguably his spell at Vale was most notable for some unfortunate remarks about local rivals Macclesfield Town.
He was loaned out to Shrewsbury Town for a spell in 2007 but again injuries caused a premature end to the loan move. Eventually his injuries while a Port Vale player caused him to retire from the game in 2008 through injury.
