Malvin Kamara player profile:
Right-winger Malvin Kamara had spells with Wimbledon and Milton Keynes before joining Cardiff City.
In 2006 he joined Martin Foyle’s Port Vale side on a short-term deal for a nominal fee.
Kamara scored a solitary goal for the Valiants – the winner in a 1-0 win over Cheltenham Town in March 2007.
However, he failed to earn a new deal at the end of the 2006-2007 season and was released. Shortly afterwards he was capped by Sierra Leone and moved onto Huddersfield Town where he stayed for the next two years.
He returned to Vale Park for a second trial in the summer of 2009 but didn’t impress new Vale manager Micky Adams. He moved into non-league in 2011 and finished his playing career with a spell at Hampton and Richmond Borough in 2011.
