Vale add two during transfer window
Port Vale have confirmed the deadline day signings of Cardiff midfielder Tommy O’Sullivan and Hull striker Greg Luer on month-long loans.
However, Vale missed out on defensive target Remie Streete who was one of a number of Newcastle players to be loaned to Glasgow Rangers.
Manager Rob Page knows O’Sullivan from his role as Wales U21 coach and he sees the attacking midfielder as a replacement for the injured Louis Dodds.
Luer, 20, is a pacy striker whom the Vale think will add a “different option” upfront. Vale were short of numbers upfront with Dany N’Guessan leaving, Ben Williamson injured and Alex Nimely on trial with Bolton.
