Page praises ‘every one of our players’
Manager Rob Page praised the whole side after the 3-0 win over Doncaster but reserved special praise for Byron Moore and Ryan Inniss.
Page commented: “I thought it was a terrific performance by every one of our players, from Chris Neal in goal to Tom Pope in attack.
I thought it was a terrific performance by every one of our players, from Chris Neal in goal to Tom Pope in attack…
“But Ryan has certainly made a difference since he joined us. He’s been a breath of fresh air because it isn’t often you get someone so young come in and boss people around from the first training session.
“He’s a great lad, but he also shows a lot of experience for a 19-year-old and that is rubbing off on those around him. His pace has certainly helped Chris Robertson alongside him and it’s certainly very pleasing to get two clean sheets on the trot.”
Commenting on Moore he added: “You can’t imagine what he’s been through, but he’s getting there now and we were all delighted to see him score.
“He had started to look brighter in training in the last few weeks and I’m sure his performance and the goal will give him another boost.”
