Winger is latest ex-Valiant to join Tranmere
Jennison Myrie-Williams is the latest player to join an increasing former Vale contingent at Prenton Park.
Former Port Vale manager Micky Adams has signed Myrie-Williams on loan from Scunthorpe for the remainder of the season. The wideman was a key component of the Vale side that were promoted from League Two in 2013. He continued to be a regular scorer in League One although his overall contribution was less consistent and earned some criticism from supporters.
His decision to leave Vale in the summer of 2014 therefore provoked a mixed reaction with some fans believing Vale would miss his goal contribution while others felt that a more consistent performer would be an excellent replacement. The Valiants subsequently added Mark Marshall, who has impressed so far in his brief Vale career.
Adams has already added injury-prone wideman Rob Taylor to his squad alongside Steve Jennings, who barely had time to impress during a brief Vale Park career.
Tranmere also have former Valiant Chris Shuker on their coaching staff with the diminutive wideman also registered as a player.
