N’Guessan to exit Vale?
BBC Radio Stoke’s Lee Blakeman has suggested that striker Dany N’Guessan could be leaving Port Vale in the near future.
N’Guessan was left out of the squad to face Barnsley on Saturday and it has been suggested that the French forward may be moving abroad.
N’Guessan only signed a contract until the end of the season in December after joining the club in October on a short-term contract.
If he leaves, it will leave Vale short of numbers upfront. Ben Williamson has played the majority of games under Rob Page but with Louis Dodds and Achille Campion injured plus Alex Nimely on trial at Bolton, it leaves only Tom Pope and Colin Daniel as Williamson’s strike partners.
However, Vale chairman Norman Smurthwaite has suggested that the club may add a new player ahead of the January deadline and if N’Guessan leaves, it would appear likely that Vale will make a move for a new player.
N’Guessan has scored four goals in twelve games for the Valiants.
