Giant West Brom defender joins on loan
Port Vale have made their second loan signing of the day with the news that West Brom’s six foot five inches tall defender Reiss Greenidge has joined on loan.
Greenidge will be on loan at the club until the end of December and joins fellow loanee Stephane Zubar in joining the Valiants.
The youngster began his career at Arsenal and according to the press, he was watched by the likes of Chelsea last season.
The 18 year-old told the official Port Vale website: “The move has been on the cards for about two weeks. I met the Chairman, had good talks with him and I then left it to my agent.
“At the end of last season there we a few big clubs who were supposed to be interested in me, but my aim is to play first team football instead of going to a big club like that.
“I can offer height, obviously good defending, speed and strength. I would say they are my main attributes from my time at West Brom.”
