Bradford 1-1 Port Vale
Midfielder Chris Lines scored his first goal of the season as Vale secured a welcome away point at Valley Parade.
Rob Page, unsurprisingly, named the same starting eleven that defeated Barnsley and Vale started brightly, winning a penalty on twelve minutes. Chris Lines, who took over after Jordan Slew missed on Saturday, made no mistake to give Vale a welcome early lead.
The home side came back into it and felt that they had a legitimate shout for a penalty of their own, but the referee thought otherwise.
Vale nearly held on until the break but with the very last kick of the half Mark Yeates made it 1-1.
Bradford came more strongly into the game in the second-half and Vale were having to rely on Valiant defending. However, despite the pressure, Chris Birchall came close when he headed against the post moments after coming on.
The home continued to look dangerous but the Valiants held on to maintain interim manager Rob Page’s unbeaten record.
