Griffith joins Shrewsbury Town
Former Port Vale midfielder Anthony Griffith has signed a one-year contract with League Two Shrewsbury Town.
Griffith had been without a league club since leaving the Vale at the end of the season and was training with the Valiants recently in a bid to maintain his fitness.
He did join Harrogate Town earlier this month but after just one appearance he has now left the Skrill North side to link up with Shrewsbury. He links up with former Vale winger Ashley Vincent who is now at Shrewsbury.
Tough tackling Griffith had three spells with Vale, making over 200 appearances, picking up two International caps for Montserrat and named as player of the year in 2010.
We wish him well at his new club.
