Vale set for coaching reshuffle
Port Vale manager Micky Adams says that assistant manager Mark Grew and first team coach Rob Page have agreed new deals to stay at the club but their roles may change.
Adams told the Sentinel: “Rob and Mark are on board, certainly for the next two years. Both have agreed new contracts, and their roles will be slightly different this year, but we will talk about that another time.”
The highly-rated Page has been linked with manager’s roles with several clubs since joining the Valiants as a coach in 2011.
Meanwhile, loyal club servant Grew has been coaching at the club since 1994 (with the exception of a brief period in 2002) and also enjoyed a six year playing career as Vale’s goalkeeper.
