Byron Moore, Crewe’s Stoke-on-Trent born winger, has left the club after turning down a new contract. Moore has been linked with a switch to Vale Park this summer.
This feature contains rumour and speculation. All of these rumours should be treated as unconfirmed gossip until any move is officially announced by the club itself. We make no apologies for publishing some rumour and gossip (after all, even the state broadcaster, the BBC, publishes a daily Football Gossip column) but we’d just like to reiterate that this feature should not be treated too seriously.
Moore could even be seen as a possible replacement for Jennison Myrie-Williams, if the Valiants winger decides to move to League One newcomers Scunthorpe United.
25 year-old Moore progressed through the junior ranks to make 226 starts for Crewe, scoring 33 times.
