Port Vale have announced that three backroom staff, including chief scout George Foster has moved on to Premier League clubs.
A statement reads: “Head Scout George Foster, Head Physio Andy Foster and Youth Team Physio Gareth Hikin will be taking their skills to various Premier League Clubs around the country. ”
Manager Micky Adams commented: “We are sorry to lose three exceptional members of staff, but when clubs in higher divisions coming knocking on the door who are we to stand in their way, we wish all three men the very best in their new roles.”
Foster, who worked with manager Micky Adams at Coventry City, was widely credited with bringing young striker Jordan Hugill to the club.
