Deadline for out-of-contract players nears
Manager Micky Adams has told the Sentinel that he is confident of more players agreeing terms with the club by the end of the week.
According to Adams, the players have until the 6th June to decide on their contract offers, so that would mean that the nine remaining players – Chris Birchall, Joe Davis, Richard Duffy, Jordan Hugill, Doug Loft, Chris Lines, Ryan Lloyd, Jennison Myrie-Williams and Chris Neal have until Friday to make a decision.
Adams told the newspaper: “I think Carl Dickinson will be the first of many to sign.
“It may be that we have a couple of high-profile casualties, but I believe the majority will sign.

Ironically, despite the players’ deadline, Adams himself is yet to officially commit himself to the club although all the indications are that he will remain in place.
