Manager Micky Adams says he will look to strengthen his defence – but he will wait until he receives decisions from the side’s out-of-contract players first.
Adams told the Sentinel: “That [strengthening the defence] is fair to say, but defenders who will improve us are at a premium and cost money.
“We still feel our priority is to get players re-signed and then look at what’s in the budget.
“I know we have already signed Colin Daniel, but he came quicker than we expected because he had other options and clubs were waiting on him. But we are talking to defenders.”
