Port Vale have announced that three players will leave the club but that a further twelve, including loanee Billy Knott, have been offered contracts.
The four players to be released are: Anthony Griffith, Rob Taylor, Liam Chilvers and the retiring Chris Shuker. OVF would like to thank all four of them for their efforts in a Port Vale shirt.

Loanee Billy Knott is the stand-out name from the players who have been offered contracts. Knott has been in outstanding form in the latter part of the season and many fans will be hoping that he stays on at Vale Park.
Key team players such as Doug Loft, Carl Dickinson, Chris Lines and Jennison Myrie-Williams have all been offered new contracts. Also offered deals are youngsters Ryan Lloyd, Nathan Smith and Joe Davis – which may be a surprise to fans who believe Adams is reluctant to rely on youth.
Meanwhile, the fact that Adams has issued the retained list must give hope to fans that he will continue as Vale manager next season.
