Community award honour for Pope
Port Vale striker Tom Pope has been named as the club’s Football in the Community award winner for 2014. The award is to “recognise his contribution in going beyond expectations to support the local community.”
An article on the official website states that: “At the end of the season a player is nominated as the Club Community Player of the year to recognise his contribution in going beyond expectations to support the local community.
“Vale in the Community are pleased to present this years award to local born player Tom Pope.”
