Opposing views: Crawley Town
Crawley Town fan Steven Hollis thinks Vale were impressive opponents earlier in the season but thinks his side could still finish in the top-half.

How are your team doing?
I think a top-half finish would meet most fans expectations and that is still a realistic target…
Crawley have been very up and down. They have picked up some fantastic wins against the likes of Peterborough and Wolves but have then lost against Oldham and Gillingham. I think a top-half finish would meet most fans expectations and that is still a realistic target.
Who should we watch out for?
Matt Tubbs only needs one chance to score a goal. He has already found the net seven times since joining on loan from Bournemouth to continue his prolific form from his previous spell at Crawley.
What are your thoughts on your manager?

John Gregory has certainly given the whole club a lift as it was in the doldrums a bit when he took over. He is bursting with enthusiasm and is obviously experienced at the highest level. The players seem to like him and he has coaxed some excellent performances out of them. It will be interesting to see how they get on next season when he has time to build a team he wants.
What are your thoughts on your board and off-field club activities?
There have been quite a few financial cutbacks in recent months to save money including shutting the academy which seems a slightly short-term plan. The club did not cover themselves in glory with the way they handled the problems with the pitch during January and February either.
Any views on Port Vale?

I thought Port Vale produced one of the best performances I have seen at Crawley earlier in the season. The Reds were bang in form then but were second-best by a long way and that sparked the downturn which cost Richie Barker his job.
Any views and memories of players / managers that have been involved with both teams?
Can’t think of any off the top of my head, sorry.
A score prediction?
1-1. Proctor to score for Crawley.
