Dons send ‘unfit’ Mohamed back
Injured winger Kaid Mohamed has finished his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon with the Dons boss Neal Ardley criticising the player’s fitness levels.
I don’t think his fitness levels were quite where they should’ve been. He won’t be coming back at the moment…
Mohamed is currently suffering from a hamstring injury and was unable to play in the final match of his loan spell on Saturday.
However, Wimbledon appear to be generally unimpressed with the Welsh winger with Dons boss Neal Ardley telling the media:
“It’s finished . He had a tight hamstring so he couldn’t be put in the squad today so we sent him back. That hasn’t worked out as well as we’d hoped. We went for a proven player in the league rather than an under 21 player and it didn’t quite work out.
