Bristol Rovers take Mohamed on loan
Port Vale winger Kaid Mohamed has gone out on loan for a second time – this time to League Two side Bristol Rovers.
Mohamed was signed on a two-year deal in the summer of 2013 following the departure of Ashley Vincent.
But after failing to break through to the Vale first eleven on a regular basis, he joined AFC Wimbledon on loan in November. The move proved to be a disappointing one with the winger falling out of contention towards the end of the spell and he was sent back to Vale with Dons boss Neal Ardley criticising the player’s “fitness levels.”
Mohamed returned to Vale Park with a hamstring injury but has recovered sufficiently to be sent on loan to Bristol Rovers until the of the season.
Kaid Mohamed’s season stats
Port Vale: 5+5 appearances (no goals)
AFC Wimbledon (loan): 5 appearances (no goals)
Bristol Rovers (loan): no appearances so far
