Page praises Taylor’s great attitude
Vale coach Rob Page says that Rob Taylor has “shown a great attitude, got on with his work and trained really well” and that has impressed the management team.
I know the manager is pleased with him. He has shown a great attitude, got on with his work and trained really well…
Taylor is another of Vale’s squad players to demonstrate his worth when called upon. The 28 year-old scored on his return to the first-team and then scored and set up two goals against Salisbury.
Page told the press: “Rob has been brilliant. He’d had a couple of reserve games after his injury, but he was magnificent when he was thrown into a derby at left-back.
“I know the manager is pleased with him. He has shown a great attitude, got on with his work and trained really well. He is proof that if you train well, you stand out to the manager.
“He hasn’t let us down at all when he has been back in.
“If he’s doing the stuff on the training field and performing, then he will be pushing for a place in the team, that goes for anybody in the squad.
“It doesn’t matter where you have been or what’s happened in the past. He is proof of that.”
