Manager Micky Adams sprang a major surprise on Tuesday when he dropped Lee Hughes and Pope in favour of Ben Williamson and debutant Jordan Hugill. Both the youngsters impressed in a 3-0 win with Williamson scoring and Hugill setting up skipper Loft for the second goal.
Loft told the Sentinel: “Tom will react fine, he is a very good professional. He has played a lot of games and I am sure it will motivate him to come back and try to score more goals.
