Frankie Allen is a Port Vale supporter just like you and I. But sadly, she cannot make the game on Saturday because she is fighting leukaemia.
Frankie was set to be the mascot for the game and in our absence we’ve been asked to appeal to Vale fans to sign a song for Frankie on Saturday.
We’ll hope you’ll all be able to join in a chorus of “There’s only one Frankie Allen” when the teams come onto the pitch. We hope it will show Frankie’s family and friends that the whole of Port Vale is behind them and their fight. We hope to see Frankie at another Vale match soon.
About Frankies Fight
Three-year-old Frankie, of Burslem, was diagnosed with leukaemia just weeks ago and has already undergone courses of chemotherapy, a lumbar puncture and four blood transfusions
To raise awareness, Frankies Fight is a campaign set-up by Port Vale supporters to raise awareness.
OVF is backing Frankies Fight and we hope to provide more updates and news to support the campaign in the near future.
